FINANCING FRIDAY$: HOUSING & HOME ECONOMICS 0010

It's been almost five years since I moved back to Murfreesboro from Franklin. I prayed to the Lord God Almighty about a thing and HE answered! I was in grave disbelief when HE answered, but answered is what He did and does. 

I had moved back to Franklin to be with my husband and to find a decent design job, I unpacked my boxes and bags on day twelve of February 2020. I began looking for employment immediately and then COVID happen and y'all, there was absolutely no employment to be found! 

We suffered through COVID, planted bucket gardens, built nightly pit fires, purchased extreme amounts of rolled toilet paper until we too were given the all clear sign to stand freely in line while buying groceries. After we were all COVID free. 

I prayed to God for a real normal day job and He provided me with a T-Shirt Designer Job in  Murfreesboro (October 15) of all places, so I said a solid yes and moved back to the Boro for work.

I stayed (sleeping on sofas) between my daughter's, son's and sister's houses before leasing The Tiny Place For Two on November 29th of 2021! I mostly used public transportation to get back and forth to work, the cost to ride the bus back then was $1.00 and the cost to use the very same Murfreesboro Transit System today is still just $1.00!

Saving earned dollars on housing and personal transportation to and from work allowed me  to very quickly stack money for the required downpayment and first months rent on The Tiny Place For Two. On November 29th of 2022 we moved into what I, upon sight titled The Cottage Condo.

Next Friday: Falling Short and Increasing our income.

Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. Acts 5:42 NIV!
