MONDAY MORNING MEETINGS: Chief Bucket Filler

 

The Chief Bucket Filler is also the water boy, and his job is to not only keep the water flowing, his job is also to ensure all positions haven their buckets full of water!

Per David Cottrell "the Job of a leader is to keep everyones bucket filled. The leader is the Chief Bucket Filler, and the best way to fill buckets is with excellent communications. In his book Monday Morning Leadership, David lists four things one must do to keep the team moving fiercely forward and motivated. 

 

A full bucket requires confidently knowing the main things.

To keep buckets filled always provide the bucket holders with feedback.

Let the bucket holders know, they and their positions are cared for.

The bucket holder's team also needs to know how they are performing.

That's it, keep the buckets filled, provide feedback, and always let the bucket fillers know they are seen and cared for!
