WHAT'S TRENDING TODAY? THE HOME LIBRARY REVOLUTION

Y'all! The Banned Book List of 2026 was just released by Pen America! We already know and agree with their statement: "Across the United States, thousands of books have been removed from public school classrooms and libraries as part of an unprecedented wave of censorship."

This is where we are and this is where we've been headed for a few years now! While the freedoms and liberties of The United States Consititution are tested and tried in the public schools of our country, our homes are becoming more than aged old Book Dens! The Home Library Revolution is upon us and it''s busting at the seams.

The Home Library is rapidly growing in popularity and is supported by the American Library Association, they even have a Resource Guide published on their website.

Architecture Digest and Zillow also, both share several resources for those who joy to live life as bibliophiles (a person who collects or has a great love of books). In addition, Helena Madden of Martha Stewart's writes "Creating a home library is within reach for anyone with a bit of space to spare."

Now, as for me and all of my many books, I've recently began the exciting work of cataloging all of my books for the future sharing library at the Bible Study Studio. It's my dream to one day share (show and tell) my vintage 1926 Bibles with anyone who has an interest to see. My current plan is to use the Libib Software,

Finally, the UK House and Garden site does an excellent job of speaking to the history of the Home Library!
