we've almost come full circle and it's just not a dream

 

It's been almost fourteen years since I set my heart and mind in a completely new direction. With one nod from the Lord, I adjusted my plans for me to his plans for me! 

An older woman at my church approached me with an ask. She asked me if I would consider becoming the director of the Women's Ministry Program, after praying, I of course said YES! So, I think it was the Fall of 2011 when I became the Women's Ministry Lead Coordinator at my church. 

I resigned that position at the church, late summer of 2012. 

But, know I never resigned my position with the LORD. And, to my surprise as I continued to PRAY, he continued to bless me and mine in ways I could never think or imagine! 

Why, I even got married! 

It's not been easy, actually it's been a super hard long road to here and we're not there and it's praise worthy, to note we will never arrive on this side of eternity. 

But, guess what, I feel as if we've almost come full circle and it's not a dream. After many years of dreaming of home and Bible based products, we actually have real physical products and the sonyamacdesigns shop is set to launch on the 26th day of December! 

I'm so super excited to be an older Titus 2 woman, and at some point, I'll get my salt and pepper hair all the way together!

I've also come to realize after all these years, that the old Sonya, the one who became the first employee of Wal-Mart stores in the state of Tennessee and the one who save thousands of dollars to purchased a brand new white on red Mustang, a month after her 18th birthday, SHE IS STILL HERE!
