FREEZE DRYING FOUNDATIONS: Fresh Peaches

I had coffee with some friends the other day and my friend Katie, mentioned she was in the market for a Freeze Dryer and she got me to thinking how nice it would be to have some preserved food on hand this winter. 

My freeze drying dreams may not happen this year, but I can sure start learning all about Freeze drying this year in preparation for next year. I found, what looks like a really good beginners freeze drying book on Amazon, and I guess you know, it's already in my cart! I also searched and found a list of one hundred foods to freeze dry, and a FREE introduction to Freeze Drying.
